However, in many situations (slow connection, slow FTP, ...) it is important to increase or disable this timeout. Using VeryGames WebFTP allows you to not be subject to this timeout. How to disable on Filezilla ? You have to edit the settings. How to disable on WinSCP ? You have to edit the settings, you must do this for each sites.
