Permissions wont work!

Okay so I got permissions for my server and it wont work I tryed to edit the files and it dont work please help! it looks like this

Really I can't see anything wrong with this, but you need to use pastebin.com to put this code inhere, because the code is very strict.

try

- 'money.pay'

 

and also, if you are using iconomy (which I am assuming) money.pay doesn't do anything. What you want is,

 

- 'iConomy.payment'

 

That is how it was listed as the permission node in 1.4, yet when I did it it didn't work. I think iConomy might be a little buggy with permissions, as a lot of plugins are in 1.4. Hopefully in 1.5 all the plugins will be fixed.

 

I was having problems with permissions, got it working last night after like a week and then today 1.5 has to come along... lol.

Yeah, 1.4 was a dreadfull upgrade experience, I never got my server fully 1.4 compatible and now with the 1.5 upgrade I think that upgrades may be released alot more stable.

Anyway, I am not upgrading my server to 1.5 (production server that is) until I have it thoroughly tested.

There's a little overloading of permissions going on here.

President:

default: false

- Chief

permissions:

- '*'

 

The President gets all the permissions via the '*' AND he inherits the premissions from Chief.

Remove the - Chief line and your problem should be fixed.
